Burris will be donating all earnings from this song to aid Palestinian families that are being effected by the current attacks in Gaza through Islamic Relief USA.

I hope this release doesn't come across to the listener as me trying to use this conflict as a platform to promote my music. I know that one of my true gifts to the world is song, and it is often easier for me to relay my emotions on a topic by singing it. Unfortunately “Safe House” is an old song that continues to remain relevant. Innocent people are constantly being murdered, and our government continues to aid organizations and countries that commit genocide and mass murder repeatedly. War is evil… life is sacred. Millions of dollars should not be spent on death and destruction. I hope our civilization can soon surpass such low levels of thinking. So I offer this song to all the beautiful souls in my life that need comfort and temporary relief from the hatred that continues to litter our country.
