"I Don't Know How" is the second of three singles released by Burris this summer. All of the songs depict different stages and emotions in a relationship. Particularly, this song is about falling out of love with someone but being unable to express in words to your significant other how you feel. Most of us have probably been there. It's never an easy thing to do, especially if you do truly care for the person but know it's for the best. The song is written in three stages. First, a melancholy yet beautiful duet between piano and voice that portrays the helpless feeling. Second, a full band section featuring a whirlwind of a keyboard solo. This sections represents the confusion, second guessing and roller-coaster of emotions that come with leaving someone. Finally, the third section recalls the melody from section one. Leaving you with the painful statement, "I don't know how I'm going to tell you."
